The Gen 3 Router connects directly to the Advanced Power Supply using a Starlink cable. A 5m cable is included in the Performance Gen 3 Router Kit, and a 15m version is available in the Starlink Shop if a longer one is needed. The Starlink cable supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), so the router doesn’t require a separate power supply when used with the Performance (Gen 3) Kit and Advanced Power Supply.

The Advanced Power Supply provides power to the Gen 3 Router through the included ethernet cable connected to the WAN port. It cannot power third-party devices, as it uses a proprietary power connection.
