What is the Check WiFi Range App tool?

The purpose of the Check WiFi Range tool is to create a visualization of WiFi signal strength throughout your home. In the areas of weaker signal, you may want to consider purchasing a Starlink Mesh Router to help wirelessly extend your network. 

How do I use the Check WiFi Range tool?

Navigate to the Starlink App home page > Network tab > Check WiFi Range. Walk around your home to measure signal strength. Press “View Results” to view a summary of signal strength around your home. 

Note: This tool requires App version 2.0.28 or later, as well as camera permissions.

Does the Check WiFi Range tool work with third party routers?

No, since the Starlink router tells the App what your device’s signal strength is, the Check WiFi Range tool is only compatible with the Starlink router.
