This document explains important matters (including matters stipulated in Article 22-2-3, paragraph 1 of the Ordinance for Enforcement of the Telecommunications Business Act) when subscribing to Starlink (two-way satellite-based internet service). In applying for subscription, please carefully read matters stated in the following documents in addition to this document and make your application after consenting to the details thereof: Starlink Terms of Service; Starlink Privacy Policy; Starlink Acceptable Use Policy; Starlink Specifications; Software License and Usage Terms; Intellectual Property; Starlink Limited Warranty; and Starlink Fair Use Policy.

Details of Telecommunications Services
  • (i) Name: Starlink (two-way satellite-based internet service) includes Starlink Standard, Starlink Priority, Starlink Mobile and Starlink Mobile Priority
  • (ii) Type: Internet connection service; Satellite access service.
  • (iii) Quality: Please see the matters stated in Starlink Specifications. Stated speeds and the uninterrupted use of the Services is not guaranteed. Actual speeds may be lower than expected speeds during times of high usage. Performance varies based on location, time of day and the precedence Starlink gives your data in the network based on your Service Plan. Please see our Fair Use Policy for more information on how Starlink treats Standard, Priority, Mobile, and Mobility Priority data and how that impacts your Services under each Plan.
  • (iv) Places where provision can be received: Services can be used only in areas designated “Available” on the Starlink Availability Map. Also, with the Standard Plan and Priority plans, usage will be limited to the registered address.
  • Communication Fees (all amounts tax inclusive)
  • Standard Service Plan: ¥6,600 per month
  • Priority Service Plan: 1TB ¥28,000 per month / 2TB ¥56,000 per month / 6TB ¥168,000 per month
  • Mobile Service Plan: Regional - ¥9,900 per month; Global: ¥25,900 per month)
  • Mobile Priority Service Plan: 50GB ¥33,408 per month; 1TB ¥133,632 per month; 5TB ¥668,160 per month
  • If applicable, additional automatic charges per GB of data use, if you opt-in to purchasing additional data after hitting your data limit under the Priority and Mobile Priority Service Plans. The cost is ¥56/GB for Priority data and ¥268/GB for Mobile Priority data. Once you opt-in, you will be automatically billed for additional data used until you opt-out, including in following billing cycles.

  • Contact Details and Method for Canceling or Changing Subscription You can stop the recurring monthly payment, cancel Services and withdraw at any time via your Starlink account located within the Starlink Customer Portal.
    Terms and Conditions for Canceling or Changing the Subscription You may terminate Services irrespective of the subscription period or the reason via your Starlink account located within the Starlink Customer Portal. However, depending on the timing of your application to terminate, we may require you to pay the service fee for the following month. You may return the Starlink Kit or accessories only in cases prescribed in the Starlink Terms of Service. In this case, you might bear shipping charges.
