If you’re moving to a new country where Starlink service is available (see map), or you want to update your account to a recently launched country, you’ll need to cancel your current service plan and set up a new account in your new country.
This process ensures that Starlink accounts and hardware are registered to the correct country of use. It also allows us to comply with local regulations and provide accurate billing and support.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to your Starlink account at starlink.com.
- Go to the Subscriptions tab and select your active subscription.
- Under the Service Plan box, click Manage, then select Cancel Service.
- Go to the Devices section, find your Starlink, and take note of your Starlink Identifier Number.
NOTE: We recommend writing down your Starlink Identifier and also taking a screenshot so you do not lose it. You need this to activate in your new country.
- Once you saved your Starlink Identifier Number, click Transfer. Confirm the conditions to remove it from your account.
- Once transferred, the Starlink kit is no longer associated with your old account.
- Visit starlink.com/setup and use a new email address to create your new account.
- Enter your Starlink identifier when prompted.
- Select New Account, enter your new service address in the country you’re moving to, and pick a service plan.
- Complete billing details and click Place Order to activate service in your new location.
